Giant abilities in March of Giants

Every giant in March of Giants has a passive, a basic attack, three abilities and an ultimate. This page lists the 85 that change how a giant plays, the passive, three abilities and ultimate of all 17 giants, and every ability page shows its full description, its damage type, its cooldown and energy cost at each rank and the augments it takes.

Abilities deal kinetic or alchemic damage, and the description shows how they scale: a value such as 70 (+90% Power) means 70 base damage plus 90% of your giant's Power. Kinetic Power and Alchemic Power from items feed the matching damage type, which is why a build leans one way or the other.

Unlocking abilities and ultimates in March of Giants

Abilities unlock as your total Merits grow, at 400, 1,000, 2,000 and 3,000, with the ultimate last. Regular abilities rank up to five times and most of them come off cooldown faster at every rank, while most ultimates have three ranks and long cooldowns, from Goliath's Call of Courage at 60 seconds down to 40, up to 180 seconds for Wolfgang's The Howling Hunt and Flint's Siege Mode.

Augments in March of Giants

Augments change what an ability does rather than just its numbers. The four kinds are Range, Area of Effect, Duration and Projectile, and depending on the ability they also raise its power scaling or its intensity, such as the number of tornadoes Stratus throws out.

You buy augments with Augment Points, which you mostly earn by destroying enemy Army camps. One augment costs a single point, but stacking several on one ability, or the same augment on several abilities, gets more expensive.
