How the Breach map in March of Giants is laid out
Breach is the battlefield every PvP and co-op match of March of Giants is played on. It is a ruined capital split between two teams, each starting at its own Arsenal, with a top, middle and bottom lane running between the two bases and ruins, alleys and backstreets filling the ground in between.
Each lane is held by Outposts on the front line and Bastions behind them, and the first team to destroy two enemy Bastions wins. Teams usually split up by lane: the Solo holds the top lane, the Scout roams the middle ruins, and the Farmer and the Assist share the bottom lane.
Camps, Salvage Depots and tunnels on Breach
Field Camps guard key positions on Breach and come in three kinds. Upgrade Camps near the front line let you upgrade your war-shell without walking back to your Arsenal, Merits Delivery Camps closer to your base hand out Merits, and Augment Points Collect Camps near your base give your whole team an Augment Point from a box that first appears at 5:00 and then every 10 minutes. Destroying enemy camp turrets earns Merits and an Augment Point.
Salvage Depots drop supplies at regular intervals, and sending soldiers to scavenge them is how you pay for battleworks. Team tunnels at the edge of your base move your giant quickly toward the side lanes, and the trees in the ruins hide giants and soldiers from sight until a soldier charge reveals them.
Neutral objectives on the March of Giants map
Three neutral objectives decide a lot of matches on Breach. The Siege Dozer appears in the ruins at regular intervals; repair it with your soldiers, choose a lane and escort it while it stuns and damages enemy Outposts and Bastions.
The Autotank Colossus is summoned from one of two Summoning Pods, one in each team's territory, with 9,000 Merits as the recommended point to try it. The A.M.S. Abomination drifts above the battlefield and only fights once something enters its range; bring it down and one giant can recover the Sovereign Gun from its wreckage.
